Biography
I came to Asia in 1996 and spent six years in Taiwan and the last 18 in mainland China. For the last 14 years, my family and I have called Tianjin home. During my career in Asia I spent 18 years working for a US based real estate services business which meant working on many exciting commercial real estate projects, many of which shaped the face of the cities where they were located. In 2019, I set up my own real estate focused consulting and investment business. Through these efforts I continue to be involved in the local business community and am aware of the many challenges that business owners and managers face. In Taipei, Shanghai and Tianjin, I've been actively involved in AmCham. I have been fortunate to have been involved in the Tianjin chapter since my arrival and have been honored to have served on the Executive Committee since 2007 including stints as both the chairman and vice-chair. I intend to continue to support the chamber and to encourage my colleagues to do so as well. Together we can all build a stronger business community and a stronger city.
