Food and Beverage Committee

The Food & Beverage Committee provides a platform for members from the food and beverage industry to meet on regular basis to exchange information on regulations and standards in relation to food safety and to bring forth joint efforts reaching out to Chinese authorities responsible for food safety issues. The Committee meets on a monthly basis and has provided reccomendations to the Chinese government on various regulations in relation to the Food Safety Law.

The Food & Beverage Committee is the first public-private partnership established in the F&B sector and serves as a platform for Chinese regulators to hold effective exchanges with the industry, as well as with their counterparts in the US and EU. The program has supported international seminars, local capacity building programs, comparison research on future legislation, etc.
