Campaign Statement
I have been associated with MetLife for almost 30 years. Also being an AmCham China member for the last 24 years, I had the privilege of serving as Board of Governors for eight years from 2009 to 2012 and from 2014 to 2017.
We are in such a complex and unstable political and economic environment today. We, as the US business representatives here in China, are inevitably involved in these multiple dimensions and the unpredictable world today. We especially need the support from and to be involved in all type of organizations, particularly our own associations. AmCham China has been playing an important role in representing U.S. business community as well as promoting U.S.-China economic and social cooperations over the years, its role becomes even more important today. I am confident that AmCham China will continue to help members succeed despite the complexities in the political, economic, and regulatory environment around all of us, and I hope I will have the opportunity to contribute my time and experience in promoting a stable and mutual beneficial business environment.
Please let me know, if I am elected, how the Board could better listen to your issues and concerns, and better serve our members in general. Let us all work together to make AmCham China a better and stronger institution.
