On August 30, the AmCham China Southwest Chapter hosted the 2024 New Members Welcome Mixer at the ICC Club, managed by TEC. The event brought together both founding and new members, to celebrate the ongoing growth of our AmCham China Southwest community.
AmCham China President Michael Hart kicked off the event with a video message, expressing his gratitude to the members, Southwest Chapter staff, and Executive Committee for their continued support. He encouraged members to participate in the 2025 China Business Climate Survey and the drafting of the American Business in China White Paper.
Jun Lin, Vice President of Corporate Affairs at Chevron China Energy Company and Vice Chair of the AmCham China Southwest Chapter, followed with a welcome speech. He shared his positive experiences from participating in various events and sincerely thanked the Southwest Executive Committee members for their valuable contributions to the Chamber.
Wei Wei, the Chapter Manager of AmCham China Southwest, extended a warm welcome to all new members joining in 2024. She highlighted the past year’s achievements and future outlook, focusing on the ABC’s of AmCham China: Advocacy, Business, and Community.
The event also featured a lively lucky draw session, with sponsors and Executive Committee members awarding prizes such as resort room vouchers, mooncake gift boxes, luxury buffet vouchers, airline accessories, gift boxes, and Coca-Cola souvenir cups.
