Marcus Williams, Boeing Tianjin Composites Co., Ltd.
Marcus has over 35 years of aerospace experience with The Boeing Company in the disciplines of Supplier Management, Program Planning and Control (PP&C) and Finance. Prior to Joining BTC, Marcus was the Senior Manager in BCA Supplier Management responsible for Supply Chain Architecture and Integration on the 777X and prior to that on the Tanker Program. Prior to joining the Tanker Program Marcus was on the 787 Program for six years as the Senior Manager responsible for the implementation of Program Planning, Integrated Scheduling, Earned Value Management and Baseline Management.
Marcus has a Bachelor’s Degree in Aviation Management from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach, Florida and he also holds a MBA Degree from the Olin School of Business at Washington University in St. Louis, MO.
He was certified a Project Management Professional (PMP) as issued by the Project Management Institute and from 2000 to 2012 he was an Adjunct Professor at Keller Graduate School of Management teaching graduate classes in Project Management, Risk and Quality Management, Contracts and Earned Value Management.
Marcus joined the Tianjin Chapter of AmCham in 2017 and was elected to the Executive Committee in 2019. In 2020 he was elected as Vice Chairman of the Tianjin Chapter and Chairman from 2022 to 2024.
