On October 29, members gathered at the Microsoft Technology Center in Beijing for the workshop “Reinventing Communications with AI,” hosted by the Microsoft China Communications team. This in-person event offered attendees a unique opportunity to explore how artificial intelligence (AI) is transforming the communications landscape.
The session began with an opening speech by AmCham China’s Senior Director, Mark Dreyer, setting an engaging tone for the afternoon. Following this, Microsoft GCR’s Vice President of Communications, Michael Jong, along with Communications Directors Ming Cong and Steffi Cao, as well as Senior Communications Manager Howard, delivered a keynote speech with live demonstrations. They showcased Microsoft’s latest AI technologies and how these tools can be integrated into daily workflows, focusing on practical applications in content creation, analysis, and strategic communication planning.
During the interactive keynote, the Microsoft experts demonstrated AI tools that are transforming the way professionals connect, collaborate, and convey information, highlighting improvements in efficiency, accuracy, and engagement. Afterward, participants had the chance to engage in hands-on experiences with these tools and network with peers in the field.
The event concluded with a Q&A session, where Microsoft’s team addressed various practical questions, deepening participants’ understanding of AI’s impact on the communications industry.
