Ben Fullmer joins the AmCham China Northeast Executive Committee as the new Chairman.
Ben Fullmer is the Supply Chain Director for Intel Semiconductor Ltd. located in Dalian, China. In his role, he is responsible for all the procurement, logistics, warehousing, strategy development, operations, and supplier management activities in support of Intel’s leading-edge memory manufacturing site. He arrived in China in August, 2017.
Prior to joining Intel, Ben was the Director of Procurement for an Intel/Micron joint venture in Utah. Throughout his career, he has held various positions in purchasing, accounting, and finance. He has a Bachelor’s degree from BYU (ID) in Accounting and an MBA from the University of Utah.
Outside of work, Ben loves spending time with his wife and five kids. He enjoys playing golf, tennis, water-skiing, and basketball.
Darren Gibby joins the Executive Committee as the new Vice Chairman.
Darren Gibby is the Dalian Site Controls Manager for Intel Semiconductor (Dalian). In this role, he is responsible for site risk management. He has been in China since 2017.
Darren has been with Intel for 13 years, where he has held positions in capacity planning, logistics, procurement, and finance. He is a Certified Fraud Examiner and has been an auditor for more than 10 years. Prior to working in the semiconductor business, he worked in the automobile industry for Ford Motor Company. Darren holds a Bachelor’s degree in Finance (with minors in Chinese, political science, and economics) from Utah State University and a MBA from Brigham Young University.
Clare Meng joins the Executive Committee as an EC member.
Clare Meng is Cisco’s Director of Employee Services APJC and Operations Dalian Site Lead, and also she’s a senior HR professional. 19 years ago Clare started her HR career at Wal-Mart. Since 2004, she stepped into IT Industry as an executive HR professional and spent 10 years working for Dell and then for Intel before she joined Cisco in 2014.
In 2014, Clare joined Cisco as the first Director of Employee Services APJC and Operations Dalian Site Lead. She’s responsible for overall delivery of the Employee Experience portfolio of 43 services in APJC region, which include HR service and internal IT service.
