AmCham China announced two leadership changes in the Executive Committee of the Central China Chapter, recently approved by the Board of Governors.
Steve Carpenter will be replacing John Ford as the Chairman of the Central China Executive Committee. Carpenter has been an active member of the AmCham Central China Chapter since its beginning in 2009, where he served on the Executive Committee from 2009-2012. He has over 29 years of experience in engineering, sales, and management in producing products and services for the electric power generation and pulp and paper industries. Carpenter and his wife, Sandra, have raised three children in China. The eldest two are attending college in the US, with the third to soon follow.
We would also like to welcome Rayman Tseng as the newest member of the Central China Executive Committee, where he will be responsible for the business development in the region. Tseng has over 18 years of professional experience in real estate, asset management, and consultancy, both within China and abroad. Before he oversaw Jones Lang LaSalle’s (JLL) Wuhan Office, he worked for a renowned Hong Kong developer where his key focus was in direct investment.
The Central China Chapter is committed to promoting business networking, information sharing, and advocacy services to members in the Central China region. The appointments of Steve Carpenter and Rayman Tseng will help AmCham China’s Central China Chapter continue pursuing this goal.
