On November 29, 2016, all Chinese individuals carrying maximum validity (10-year) B1/B2, B1, and B2 visas in passports issued by the People’s Republic of China must have a valid EVUS enrollment in order to travel to the United States. Travelers who are subject to EVUS requirements but do not have valid enrollments will not be able to obtain a boarding pass or enter through a land port of entry.
An EVUS enrollment is valid for two years or until the traveler obtains a new passport or “B” visa, whichever comes first. Other classes of visa (F, J, H, etc.) do not have to enroll in EVUS.

自2016年11月29日起，凡持有最长有效期的B1/B2、B1和B2签证（通常为10年期）的中华人民共和国公民在赴美旅行之前需要进行有效的EVUS登记。要求EVUS却没有有效登记的旅客，将无法获得登机牌，或通过陆路口岸入境美国。
一次EVUS登记有效期为两年，或者直到旅客获得新的护照或B类签证，以先到期者为准。其他类签证（F、J、H等）与短于最长期的B1、B2和B1/B2签证不需要进行EVUS登记。
