Campaign Statement

I have served on the Board of AmCham China during the past year, and would be honored to again serve the American community on the Board with a focus on 3 goals:

  • Strengthen AmCham China's ability to help US businesses export more to China;
  • Push for regulatory changes that would permit U.S. service firms to operate more broadly in China and, in particular, U.S. law firms to provide legal advice on Chinese law to U.S. businesses here in China;
  • Strengthen AmCham China's ability to help smaller U.S. businesses to cost-effectively overcome PRC regulatory and administrative hurdles and locate business opportunities in China.

In addition, I will do my best to represent the interests of all U.S. businesses and business persons here in China.

I have worked in China for more than 20 years and have an MBA and degrees in law and engineering.  I have lived in Beijing for the past 17 years with my wife where we have raised three children.
