Former US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice recently visited China, and made time for a luncheon with AmCham China members on Sept. 22. AmCham China President Mark Duval said Rice was very interested in hearing from members about the local business environment in China for American companies.

Those present to respond to Rice's questions represented a broad range of business people, from lawyers to top management at multinationals to small business owners: board members James Zimmerman, Lin Gao, Randal Phillips, Malone MaGeorge Huang, Brett Krause, Fengming Liu and Jie Lin, along with Chairman Emeritus Gregory Gilligan and Chairman’s Circle members Ken Lousberg, Ian Yang and Albert Xie. The luncheon took place at Aman at Summer Palace, Beijing.
