On Friday, February 4, an AmCham China delegation attended the opening ceremony of Beijing’s 2022 Winter Olympics at the iconic Bird’s Nest Stadium. We were honored to be invited by the Chinese People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries (CPAFFC) to be a part of the audience.
As expected, the opening ceremony did not disappoint, with spectacular performances and an impressive fireworks display. The AmCham China group was especially excited to be able to cheer on Team USA – and especially our most recent AmCham China Quarterly cover star, Shaun White – as they joined the parade of competing nations.
