On September 27, AmCham China’s Sports Committee held our first-ever pickleball event, attracting a full house of sports enthusiasts eager to try the sport for the first time.
With only 20 spots available, the event sold out quickly, underscoring the growing interest in this rapidly expanding sport. The evening took place at PadelOne in Beijing where participants enjoyed learning the basics of pickleball.
Pickleball, a unique blend of tennis, badminton, and table tennis, has gained popularity in recent years, particularly in the US. During the event, participants learned the basics of the game and engaged in doubles matches to put their skills to the test.
