The Conference, attended by Chinese President Xi Jinping and other global leaders, reaffirmed the enduring relevance of the Five Principles and explored their role in building a community with a shared future for mankind. Xi Jinping’s speech, titled “Carrying Forward the Five Principles of Peaceful Coexistence and Jointly Building a Community with a Shared Future for Mankind,” underscored the principles of mutual respect, non-aggression, non-interference, equality, and peaceful coexistence as the bedrock of international relations and law. He called for a united effort to uphold these principles and to build a more inclusive and cooperative global community.
