On May 22, AmCham China hosted a townhall in Chengdu for its members to meet with the US Ambassador to China, Nicholas Burns.
During the event, Ambassador Burns spoke on the main challenges in US-China relations: economy and trade, technology, security issues and geopolitical positioning, and human rights. He also discussed areas where the United States and China should engage, including climate change, global health issues, and agriculture. He also listened to the challenges faced by members in operating in China and had in-depth exchanges with members.
