On April 14, AmCham China, Tianjin held a briefing on the business impact of the latest COVID-19 outbreak. The briefing was followed by a spring member mixer at the Four Seasons Hotel Tianjin.
The recent joint flash survey from AmCham China and AmCham Shanghai revealed 99% of respondents have been impacted by the recent COVID-19 outbreak in China.
At the briefing, Marcus Williams and Martin Winchell, Chair and Vice-Chair of Tianjin Chapter highlighted the quantitative issues such as COVID-19’s expected impact on corporate revenues, investment decisions, and talent retention. The survey also included questions on China’s management of COVID-19 and provided member company’s top recommendations on how to improve regulations, which may help executives plan and make business strategies. After the briefing, attendees joined in a spring mixer at the bar in the Four Seasons Hotel.
