As a passionate advocate for robust U.S.-China business relations, I am seeking your support for a second term on the AmCham China Board of Governors.
With over 25 years of leadership experience in the technology sector both in the US and China, I have developed a deep understanding of the unique challenges and transformative opportunities facing American businesses in this complex and rapidly evolving market.
In my current role, I have actively engaged with high-level government officials, regulatory bodies, and key stakeholders, ensuring that our voices are heard at the highest levels of influence. My efforts have centered on driving economic development while addressing regulatory concerns and delivering actionable insights that empower our business community to navigate the intricacies of the Chinese market with greater confidence.
My vision is to strengthen our community by fostering collaboration, enhancing advocacy, and providing valuable resources to our members. I am committed to championing innovation and sustainability, so our businesses not only thrive but also make a positive impact on the community around us and leave the world a better place.

Biography
Isabel Mahe is Apple’s Vice President and Managing Director of Greater China, reporting to CEO Tim Cook and COO Jeff Williams. Isabel provides leadership and coordination across Apple’s teams in Greater China.
Isabel joined Apple in 2008 as Vice President of Wireless Technologies, overseeing the development of cellular, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC, location, and motion technologies for nearly every Apple product. She also played a key role in developing new China-specific features for iPhone and iPad.
Isabel has been serving on the Board of Directors for Lululemon since 2022. She was an independent director of the Starbucks board from 2019-2023, where she served on the Nominating and Corporate Governance Committee. She also serves on AmCham China’s Board of Governors as well as the Management Committee of the China Children’s Development Fund, part of the China Development Research Foundation.
Isabel has been named by Fortune Magazine as one of the most powerful women in international business for seven consecutive years since 2018; Fast Company placed her sixth on its list of the Most Creative People in Business of 2017.
Before joining Apple, Isabel served as Vice President of Wireless Software Engineering at Palm and held key technical and managerial positions at other wireless companies. Isabel holds Bachelor of Applied Science and Master of Engineering degrees from Simon Fraser University in British Columbia and an MBA from the University of California, Berkeley.
