An Evening of Glitz & Glamour: AmCham China Northeast’s Hollywood Ball Shines Bright

The allure of Hollywood came alive at the 2024 AmCham China Northeast Hollywood Red Carpet Gala, held at the Four Seasons Hotel. From inspiring speeches to breathtaking performances, the event was a testament to collaboration, recognition, and celebration.

The evening began with welcome remarks from Mr. Wayne, the General Manager of Four Seasons Hotel, setting the stage for an enchanting night ahead. Dr. Richard Swann, the new Chair of AmCham China’s Northeast Chapter, followed with an opening speech.

Guests indulged in a lavish buffet. After dinner and drinks, certificates of appreciation were presented to the event’s sponsors – the Dalian American International School, Air Canada, Pfizer Business Service (Dalian) Co., Ltd., Maple Leaf Foreign Nationals School-Dalian, and Canadian International School of Shenyang – acknowledging their invaluable contributions to the evening’s success.

The event also recognized outstanding individuals and organizations for their contributions to the Northeast Chapter. The Four Seasons was honored as the Best Partner of the Year, for their continued support and collaboration in hosting outstanding events. Additionally, Ladon Ghalili, the outgoing Chair of the Northeast Chapter, received the prestigious Outstanding Contribution Award, while Executive Committee Vice Chair, Duan Yun A was recognized for her exceptional leadership with the Outstanding Leadership Award.

The evening continued with exciting performances, music, and dancing. Jazz band Uncle L serenaded guests while they hit the dance floor.

The event concluded with a lucky draw, courtesy of the event’s in-kind sponsors – Four Seasons Hotel, Grand Hyatt Hotel, Fraser Suite, HPE, Canadian International School of Shenyang, Shenyang Huasheng Import and Export International Trading Co., Ltd., Tchin Tchin, and Premier.
