Did you know that AmCham China is a member of the B20 Trade and Investment Taskforce? All five B20 (Business 20) taskforces met this week in Paris at the B20 China Second Joint Taskforce Meeting to discuss final revisions to their policy papers and begin discussing advocacy strategies in the lead up to the 2016 G20 which will be held this September in Hangzhou.
The Trade and Investment Taskforce is focused on identifying the key obstacles hindering trade and investment on a global scale (rather than country- or industry-specific issues) and providing actionable recommendations to be considered by the G20 trade ministers. There are four additional B20 taskforces on infrastructure, employment, financing growth and small to medium-sized enterprise (SME) development.
