The AmCham China Central China Chapter hosted the Global Educators Unite Meeting: Charting a Course for International Schools in Wuhan at Wuhan Yangze International School on October 20, with nearly 20 delegates in attendance.
Steve Carpenter, Chairman of the AmCham China Central China Chapter Executive Committee, kicked off the event with opening remarks. Following that, Christopher Rehm, Head of Wuhan Yangtze International School (WYIS), led the meeting by introducing its goals, values, and prospects. He shared a proposed vision, mission, and working plan for establishing the local Education Committee. Participants were invited to engage in discussions on how to collectively achieve these objectives.
Post-discussion, Dr. Rehm conducted an insightful school tour, leaving participants impressed by the vibrant campus and the engaging teaching atmosphere.
