Committee News
About This Committee
To improve US-China cooperation on export controls, create business-friendly export control regulations, and facilitate a mutually beneficial export control environment that enhances global trade cooperation while promoting a security and compliance culture within the trade community in China.
Since its inception in 2006, the Export Control Committee has had to adapt to the constantly changing trade environment by embracing a more compliance-oriented focus on important export licensing decision-making while deepening industry’s understanding of Chinese trade and trade related controls. This work has grown to include offering guidance on Chinese national and regional government approaches to trade related controls while also continuing to assist US businesses with understanding and navigating the complexities of US-China trade and trade related laws.
