On February 20, the AmCham China Education Committee hosted its 2025 Kick-Off Meeting at the Chamber’s Beijing offices. The event brought together education professionals, industry leaders, and Committee members to set the stage for the year ahead.
The event featured three speakers, all of whom serve as Co-Chairs of the Education Committee:
- Katie Beck, Head of External Relations at Western Academy of Beijing
- Fran Liu, Director of China Office, University of Minnesota
- Jingyu Wang, Executive Director of Notre Dame Beijing, University of Notre Dame
During the event, the speakers reflected on the Committee’s key achievements in 2024 and led discussions on upcoming priorities for 2025, including bridging US-China education initiatives, fostering collaboration between business and education, and addressing emerging trends in the sector. The meeting also provided a platform for networking and knowledge exchange, allowing attendees to explore new opportunities for engagement.
