The largest internationally organized economic forum for Northeast China in 2015, the 2nd Annual Euromoney China (Shenyang) International Finance Executive Summit took place this week, attracting members from AmCham China's Northeast Chapter and beyond.

Known as the "Gateway to Northeast China," Shenyang has witnessed remarkable growth and attracted significant foreign direct investments over the past decade. The summit focused on the region’s economic roadmap and the prospects of its key industries. Speakers at the May 6 event included Pan Liguo, Mayor of Shenyang, and Neil Osborn, Executive Director of Euromoney Institutional. Osborn remarked, “China is a leading market for private infrastructure investment in Asia, and has the potential to attract investment of other sectors with the good infrastructure foundation.”
