On July 5, a delegation from AmCham China’s Healthcare Committee and US-China Healthcare Cooperation Program (HCP) visited Tianjin to meet with the Tianjin Medical Products Administration Bureau and the Tianjin Healthcare Security Bureau. AmCham China President Michael Hart led the group of over 20 member companies.
In the morning, the delegation met with Zou Gang, Deputy Director General of the Tianjin Medical Product Administration Bureau along with other representatives from the Bureau. 21 member company representatives attended the meeting and each were able to directly communicate with the officials to express concerns and ask questions.
For the afternoon session, the group met with the Healthcare Security Bureau and its Deputy Executive Director General Zhang Tie Jun. The delegation, again led by Hart, comprised of 23 member company representatives. During the meeting, the group engaged in a fruitful dialogue with members were able to directly communicate with officials to further their understanding of current policies.
