The American Chamber of Commerce in the People’s Republic of China is a non-profit, nongovernmental organization representing nearly 1,000 U.S. companies operating across China, including most of the Fortune 500. The Chamber’s nationwide mission is to help American companies succeed in China through advocacy, insights, relationships, and business support services. With offices in Beijing, Tianjin, Dalian, Shenyang, and Wuhan. AmCham China has 25 Working Groups and holds more than 300 events per year.
This Job posting is for interns who are available to work starting from Jan, 2025
Main Responsibility of This Position:
• Drafting email campaigns both in English and Chinese;
• Supporting the operation of AmCham China social media platforms, including WeChat, Weibo, and LinkedIn, and conducting marketing reviews;
• Assisting with the translation of interviews, news releases, etc., and monitoring media exposure of AmCham China;
• Providing onsite support to AmCham China events;
• Other responsibilities as assigned.
Specific Knowledge, Application, Technical and/or Management Skills Required to Perform Duties as Specified:
• Students currently enrolled in master’s degree programs in English, journalism, communications, or related fields; or current undergraduate students in relevant majors are welcome to apply;
• Native English or Chinese speaker with exceptional written command of the English language; ability to conduct research and communicate in Chinese preferred;
• Quick learner and attention to details;
• Exceptional writing and editing skills;
• Candidates who are dependable, flexible, able to take initiative and work well in a team environment;
• Expat candidates must be student residence permit/F visa holders;
• Part-time interns should spend at least three days a week in the office.
