Agriculture

The development of the agriculture industry continues to be a mainstay of China’s overarching economic development and an important aspect of US-China economic relations. At the same time, AmCham China members are deeply concerned about the presence of retaliatory tariffs and ongoing trade tensions between China and the US, which drastically reduced trade in agriculture products between the two countries throughout 2018. We believe that the ideas and recommendations included in this Policy Spotlight, produced by members of AmCham China’s Agriculture Forum, will be helpful to Chinese and US government decision makers and business leaders and help stabilize the bilateral relationship.
