On May 24-25, AmCham China’s Aviation Cooperation Program (ACP) co-hosted the 2nd International Aviation Logistics Safety and Security Forum with Shenzhen Airport Group and The Boeing Company. This year’s event theme was “Trends in Aviation Logistics Transformation and Safety & Security Management.” ACP member participants included The Boeing Company, FedEx, Polar Air Cargo, United Airlines, and UPS. Representatives from the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC), Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), and Transportation Security Administration (TSA) also attended and delivered keynote speeches.
Over the course of two days, the Forum welcomed an impressive gathering of more than 300 attendees, including representatives from Chinese airlines, logistics and supply chain companies, and airports. Notable speakers included ACP Co-chair and Boeing China President Sherry Carbary, ACP Co-chair and FAA North Asia Senior Representative Noel Arbis, TSA Attaché Sherrie Soto, CAAC Aviation Security Bureau Deputy Director General Li Tong, CAAC Transport Department Deputy Director General Jin Junhao, CAAC Central and Southern Regional Administration Deputy Director Chen Wei, Shenzhen Airport Group Chairman Zhu Enping, and Shenzhen Airport Group Deputy General Manager Wang Suichu.
The agenda featured engaging presentations and panel discussions led by more than 30 industry experts, covering topics such as Aviation Logistics Trends, Development and Compliance, Transport of Dangerous and Special Cargo, Cross-border E-commerce Logistics and Transportation Security, Technology Innovation, and Digitalization of Cargo Transportation Safety and Security Check Management.
This Forum is a prime example of ACP’s commitment to promoting aviation safety, security, and efficiency.
