On June 13, AmCham China hosted its 2024 dialogue with the Tianjin Municipal Government and reception, themed “Unite, Exchange, Thrive: Jointly Elevating the ‘New’ Tianjin.”
The event began with a dialogue between representatives of member companies and the Tianjin Municipal Government. Participants engaged in an in-depth discussion on the development of foreign-funded enterprises in Tianjin and the improvement of the city’s business environment.
AmCham China Chair Sean Stein expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the Tianjin Municipal Government for its long-term support of the Chamber and presented the 2024 American Business in China White Paper. The event also showcased the investment achievements of foreign-funded enterprises in Tianjin, boosting their confidence and motivation to invest in the city.
The reception was moderated by Marcus Williams, Chair of AmCham China, Tianjin. Keynote speeches were delivered by Stein and Fan Shaojun, Vice Mayor of Tianjin Municipality. Over 200 attendees, including heads of 16 commissions and bureaus, member companies, and business leaders, were present at the event.
