WPDM Ministry of Industry and Information Technology

On October 29, AmCham China President Michael Hart and Vice President Claire Ma led a delegation of member company representatives to meet with Vice Minister Xiong Jijun of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT).

The delegation formally presented the 2024 American Business in China White Paper (White Paper). During the meeting, they addressed key issues affecting American businesses operating in China, and discussed policy recommendations to enhance the business environment. Both sides expressed their commitment to maintaining regular communication and exploring further opportunities for collaboration.

This high-level meeting continues our tradition of delivering the annual White Paper directly to key stakeholders following its release last April—ensuring AmCham China’s members’ perspectives and priorities are heard at the national level.
