White Paper Delivery Meeting at the National Intellectual Property Administration

On October 31, AmCham China’s leadership along with a group of member company representatives met with Lu Pengqi Deputy Commissioner of the China National Intellectual Property Administration (CNIPA). Hart presented Lu with a copy of the White Paper and raised relevant intellectual property-related issues at the subsequent meeting.

The delegation formally presented the 2024 American Business in China White Paper (White Paper). This meeting was the latest in a series of White Paper Delivery Meetings (WPDMs) conducted by AmCham China as part of continuing efforts to raise the issues of greatest significance to its members with the relevant government bodies, as detailed in the 600-page White Paper.

In recent months, AmCham China has also presented the 2024 White Paper to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA), the Ministry of Finance (MOF), the State Administration for Market Regulation (SAMR), the Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST), the Ministry of Commerce (MOFCOM), the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs (MARA), and the China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC).
