Meeting with Vice Foreign Affairs Minister Ma Zhaoxu

On May 21, AmCham China Chair Sean Stein led a delegation of AmCham China member companies to meet with Foreign Affairs Vice Minister Ma Zhaoxu.

After discussing the contents of the 2024 American Business in China White Paper (White Paper), the two sides exchanged views on US-China relations as well as economic and trade cooperation between the two countries.

This is part of a series of White Paper Delivery Meetings conducted by AmCham China following the release of the 2024 White Paper last month. This includes a delegation to Washington DC, where AmCham China met with several US government departments as well as the Chinese Ambassador to the US, Xie Feng. Meetings will continue over the next few months as AmCham China delegations meet with various national, provincial, and municipal bodies across China.
