On April 10, AmCham China’s Women Professional Committee hosted an insightful workshop aimed at addressing the challenges commonly faced by professional women in the workplace. The event focused on energy management strategies tailored to the specific needs of women navigating their careers.
The workshop began with opening remarks from Michael Hart, the President of the American Chamber of Commerce in China, welcoming attendees and setting the tone for the discussion.
The main session, titled “Women Professionals Energy Management,” was led by Lin Gao, Executive Coach, Trainer, Writer, and CEO of Message Coach. Gao, who also serves as the Co-chair of the AmCham China Women Professionals Committee, provided valuable insights into effective energy management techniques. She emphasized the importance of prioritizing tasks, leveraging strengths, and overcoming inner obstacles to achieve professional success.
Following Gao’s presentation, a Q&A panel discussion took place featuring Lin Gao and Gloria Xu, the China Country Manager and Vice President of Global External Affairs at Albemarle. The panelists addressed questions from participants, sharing their perspectives and experiences in navigating the challenges of the professional world as women.
The workshop concluded with a raffle session and closing remarks, providing attendees with an opportunity for networking and further engagement.
